Kristin's skin is fair, so even her tinted moisturizer, Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer contains sunblock.
Her lips stay healthy with Neutrogena Lip Moisterizer and Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Dizzy gives them a coral-rose
shine. "Two summer ago, when I starred in Snow White: The Fairest of them All, I had to stay out of the sun," Kristin says.
"I always put on a hat and sunblock--the thick white stuff. When I was younger I went to Mexico with my family. I got so burned
that my nose basically peeled off. It was disgusting! Now I apply Neutrogena's SPF 30 Block all the time. I also really love
pale pink glosses. I usually have to wear my hair back or it gets stuck on my lips." Though she often puts her hair in
a ponytail on hot days, Krisitn had never tried pulling it back with a hankercheif. "I really like the scarf in my hair,"
she says. "I'll have to try this more often." "I love having messy hair," says Kristin. "But because mine is so straight it
doesn't normally get that way. I put in a lot of effort to make it look as messy as humanly possible. I'll tease it and then
mist some hairspray in it to break things up. Sometimes I even use bobby pins to make it stick out in random places. But an
hour later, my hair usually goes back to normal. I think everyone wants the kind of hair they don't have. In high school I
wasn't allowed to wear makeup, but when I was 16 I could do what I wanted with my hair. I dyed it purple once and even considered
getting a perm. But I'm glad I didn't--it would have looked awful!" "I always feel healthier with a little color on my skin,"
says Kristin. "But I don't get much tim ein the sun and its not healthy, so I sometimes use self-tanner. I'm not very good
at it, though. I often get streaks or splotches. If I'm careful, it turns out really well." One thing Kristin has mastered
is the perfect sparkle. "I used to wear lots of glitter for my high school gymnastics competitions, like many gymnasts do
in the Olympics. I prefer fine glitter becasue it looks like fairy dust and makes me feel pretty. I just have to be careful
not to get it all over my clothes!" While shooting Smallville, Kristin has to wear clear nail polish--as we all know, Lana
is very conservative. But Kristin is more daring off-camera. "From about ninth grade until twelfth, I always wore polish.
I loved deep, rich colors. If you're going to paint your nails, you should get crazy with it!" "I once went to the beach wearing
mascara. When I got home I looked in the mirror and realized that I'd spent the entire afternoon with raccoon eyes--and my
friends hadn't said anything! Of course, you don't need mascara at the beach."
