Clark emerges from the cave completely embracing his Kryptonian background and with the ability to fly. Lois Lane comes
to town to investigate the death of her cousin, Chloe. Meanwhile, Lex is on a crusade of his own, and Lana is changed while
rubbing a floor carving of Countess Theroux...

Lois and Clark know Chloe must be alive, so they work together to find her. But what do Lex and Lois's father, General
Sam Lane, have to do with things?
EPISODE 4-3: FACADE
"Scabby Abby" who grew up with really bad skin was picked on by her peers until a Kryptonite-enhanced plastic surgery
treatment changes her forever. Unfortunately, this power also makes people have horrible hallucinations once she kisses them.
Meanwhile, Lois enrolls at Smallville High, and Clark joins the football team.
EPISODE 4-4: DEVOTED
Kryptonite-spiked energy drinks turn the cheerleader's boyfriends (and Chloe) into devoted slaves. Lex tries to get back
Clark's friendship, and Clark has Lex take care of a little problem...

Clark meets a young man with a power of speed that exceeds his own, but the boy lacks responsibility for his actions.
Also, Lex finds a manuscript that appears to be some sort of Kryptonian map.

He intends to use the artifact on Lex, but instead finds himself switched with the body of Clark.

A deadly virus makes bad dreams seem real.

Alicia Baker (from "Obsession"-- episode 3-14) is back and claims she is cured. But when she puts a red Kryptonite necklace
on Clark and they go to get married, are things going a bit too far? Plus, Lana thinks Jason wants their relationship to become
sexual.
EPISODE 4-12: PARIAH
Lana and Jason are both attacked and Alicia is implicated. Alicia tells Clark that maybe people would be more accepting
of their relationship if they knew of his powers, and she arranges things so Chloe sees him using his powers. The villain
kills Alicia before Clark has a chance to tell her that he's learned that she didn't do it.
EPISODE 4-13: RECRUIT
Lois gets herself in trouble up at Metropolis University at the same time Clark is headed up there for a recruiting trip.
EPISODE 4-14: KRYPTO
Luthorcorp animal testing gives two dogs power far beyond those of usual canines. What happens when Lois brings one home
with her?
EPISODE 4-15: SACRED
Lex, Jason, Lana, and Clark all head to China in search of one of the stones.

Lois Lane's younger sister comes to town and brings trouble
along with her.

A Luthorcorp experiment involving kryptonite splits Lex into
two beings -"Lex" and "Alexander."

It's time for the Prom, and a girl named Dawn Stiles wants
desperately to be Prom Queen - even if it means entering the body of someone else.
EPISODE 4-19: BLANK
A young man has the power of making others forget recent
moments.
EPISODE 4-20: AGELESS
Clark and Lana discover an abandoned baby in the cornfield
and take him back to the Kent farm. However, once the baby ages from a newborn to a 7-year-old in a matter of days, the two
realize he is aging at a rapid rate and frantically search for a cure before the disease kills him. Meanwhile, Genevieve orders
Lionel to kill Lana or else she will send him back to prison.
EPISODE 4-21: FOREVER
Clark must stop the school photographer after he sets up a secret simulated high school and begins kidnapping students
-- starting with Chloe -- to keep the glory days of high school going forever. Lex and Lionel are kidnapped and tortured by
the Teagues in an effort to find the crystal. However, after Genevieve realizes Lana has the crystal, she decides to put an
end to the hunt once and for all.
EPISODE 4-22: COMMENCEMENT
Clark begins to piece together the reason he was sent to Earth after he has a nightmare that something horrible is going
to happen to Smallville and heads to the cave to seek answers from Jor-El. His biological father tells him he must reunite
the three crystals immediately or a disaster of epic proportions will befall the planet and even Clark won't be able to stop
it. Meanwhile, Lex helps Lana escape Smallville after the death of Genevieve Teague the takes shocking action to get one of
the crystals away from Lionel. Realizing they are connected to Clark, Chloe tries to stop Lex from discovering the truth about
the crystals. Jason takes Jonathan and Martha hostage and threatens to kill Martha unless Jonathan tells him where Clark hid
the crystals.
